I've heard this from others... Creepy stuff what can happen with this Mega Brokers if they take it to the next level.

There have been things in the past years that have been worse, but this is the first time for such a lockdown.
What is it leading up to, I wonder?
Much of it seems like a great social experiment, in so many ways.Trucker61016, JC1971, just_sayin and 3 others Thank this. -
Work as normal which is grilling in my backyard most afternoons and sleeping in my own bed.

I'm OTR working... Having no issues getting something to eat, taking a shower daily, or truck parking.
I've been to a couple different plants that have taken my temperature before entry but those are few and far between...
Still haven't been able to find hand sanitizer or Clorox wipes and been to many many stores looking for them.Trucker61016, silinus vers, Suspect Zero and 2 others Thank this. -
And yes there will be some form of digital or personal certificate of either immunity or vaccination combined with or without those who actually recovered from Covid19 in our future.trucking.shine Thanks this. -
I'm on the road 5 days a week. And will continue to do so until this horse #### is over or there's no more freight of any kind.
None of the drivers at my Co seem to be worried 1 iota about any of this and a lot of them are in their 50's, 60s & 70s. Some are smokers, one guy I know has some kind of machine where he does breathing treatments in his truck.
We're going to see a big shift I think and it's not gonna be for the better. The .gov knows people are sheep now and will take full advantage.HoneyBadger67, Suspect Zero and trucking.shine Thank this. -
I’m OTR. Home now for my regularly scheduled home time. Instead of staying home four or five days, I’ll probably hang out about two weeks. I’m 59, Type II diabetic, and therefore a bit more vulnerable. But I’m also fortunate to have a wife who has a decent job, along with a small additional income that basically covers our mortgage.

With everything going on, is it too naive to think we might have a chance to change things and improve our position?
