That is garbage pay! USX starts vets out at .42 cpm and .49 at the one year mark! A guy I served with just hit his 18 month mark he's at .53 cpm and day one they gave him 2 years in the company! His vacation, pay, and benifits are for 3 and a half years.

Hey battle all the guys I was in with that went trucker have went to dif companies an told me USX is no. 1 Sni is no. 2 they both give you 2-5 years depending on time in service in there company on day one! Thats 2-5 years in the company benifits, pay, and vacation from day one. They start you out at .42 cpm and .49 at 1 year. The companies they said really suck for vets are no. 1 Swift no. 2 Baylor no. 3 Prime no. 4 Tcm! They may not be bad companies for exp drivers or new but they dont offer any advantages for vets. Hope this helps Air Assault!

I am retired Air Force - 29 years. Roehl is one of the few companies that runs their VA OJT Apprenticeship Program for 24 months (others being Werner, Stevens and TMC). Out of the exhaustive research I did on companies that hire rookie drivers, Roehl finished second in my top 3. Roehl also offer $6,000 in Tuition Reimbursement. I spent a year in Kabul at HQ ISAF but had a job that required travel to all the RCs. Good luck and stay safe over there.

If you're a vet, apply with US postal
They get preferential treatment
I once tried to apply for a postal job
They told me they were only accepting apps from vets that had been wounded
Wtf
I actually have to be shot to deliver mail? -
