Did the duck pond on my first trip out with them, it was a headache, the trailer wasn't there. My short hauls go in spurts it seems like, several short ones, backed by several long ones, then several short ones again. I had a 2 week period where I didn't do a thing under 1300 miles. One of them was 2700 miles, from MD, to Seattle. Other times, I've sat for a full day during the week. I'm absolutely not blindly loyal to the company like I was at SNI. I'm loyal to a paycheck and my FM knows it, my FM also has been with the company for 5 years as an FM so knows what he's doing. I lucked out there. I have almost quit several times over the weekend and night people. Talk about waterheads. But again, I do average great miles, the pay period that ended today brought me 2790 miles, 2 of them tier 1 short hauls and one of them a tier 4, all 3 of the short hauls were open end drop and hooks. The 2 tier ones were today, my FM did that for my birthday I think, they should have been job tasks, not loads, because they were just trailer shuffles.

Like I said though, I'm not blindly loyal, I have seen other drivers get screwed, but no different than I've seen Roehl, SNI, Swife, Kllm, England, Werner, or even Crete drivers get it. I've also personally seen people get fired from JB for very legit reasons, and then go on to trash them all over the net and to anyone in general that would listen. I've also had people feed me the line that they tried to get on with JB but were "over qualified" I had to laugh at that, JB pays out a 40k cash bonus to hit 4 million miles, I don't know of a lot of drivers who have that many miles, so I'd like to see their records, I think their version of over qualified, is over ticketed.

The point is, right now JB works great for me, I function very well within their system, and yes, I've refused loads, 4 IIRC. It sucks for others, just like some people love Schneider or Swift. If the way I'm treated goes down hill, or the miles dry up, I can get on a bus to Lincoln, or Joplin, and not hesitate one bit. My loyalty is to a paycheck, and right now they are #### good for me at JB. I've seen a lot of things said about JB here, some of it very true, other stuff, obvious lies. For instance, I'll NEVER believe that JB tried to push anyone, at least recently, to run over their hours. I've been called in and chewed out for having fuel stops logged 15 minutes off. I know of a lot of drivers getting fired for thinking it was ok to run 9 hours and log it as 8.5 or run 14 and log it as 11.

I had the dreaded EGR issue in Billings, MT of all places, not sure yet of what it was, the mechanic told JB Fleet support that I might have a slight exhaust leak. I was not given a choice about spending the weekend in a hotel room, it was cold, and I wasn't going to be idling so to me, it didn't matter. They wouldn't hear it. I was shut down for 2 days, hotel paid in advance, paid for both down days, and it was a weekend, and got my rig fixed right. They are very big into safety. Another person here spoke of the bad rep they had even back in the 50s. They weren't founded till the 60s, so that entire post can be taken as BS. There are bad bad things about them, there are also good things about them, and they work differently for everyone. I know a metric #### ton of happy drivers here. It can go either way.

How am I supposed to have a logical conversation with someone that makes up figures. The turnover at JB is 130%, the industry average. I'd LOVE to see where you got that 200%, I highly suspect you found it on toilet paper you just used.

Can somebody come up with what J.B.'s turnover REALLY is? Maybe this would depend on the definition of "turnover". Maybe it wouldn't.

Just adding to the 93+ pages of this thread.

If you keep having problems with these guys bugging you, just call your state's attorney general's office and complain. You have a right to privacy. You have the right to be left alone.

J.B. Hunt died, so I guess all will now be well at JBH. For those JB drivers who are sitting around in truckstops, I guess it's your chance to pay your respects with a moment (or a weekend) of silence.
