Only one thing pays the bills. All the criticism levied at average under paid Workers, who don’t have any savings. Companies themselves, especially the Large Corporations are living week to week themselves. As We learned during the financial crisis, Large publicly owned Companies borrow payroll on a weekly basis, to keep stock prices at the highest price possible, couldn’t make payrolls, got bailed out, took Bonuses. One big party. Who felt the pain? The Usual easy targets. Uneducated Working People. That’s the hard truth of it, none of it surprises Me. I wouldn’t expect anything else. What a joke it really is, meanwhile I’ll be working, waiting on the bill to pay for all this Posturing, and Pandering. Cha Ching.

Well I just called on a load. It paid $1000, 5 weeks ago. Same load tomorrow,$700. Apparently there’s no shortage of Trucks. Time to go home. The race to the bottom is on. Think I’ll sit this one out.

I wonder of any of the politicians, medical experts, technocrats, etc, who have virtually shut our economy down. will be going without a paycheck anytime soon?

Okay, finally some movement on my PPP loan application I submitted on April 04th.
After watching the video @DUNE-T posted, I decided to give my rep at the bank a call. I've been holding back a little because I know he's probably inundated with applications in his queue.
He is...
After shooting the bull with him a little, he told me he was going to review & fast-track my application & documentation today and let me know if he needed anything else.
He called me back an hour later and said everything looked good and that all he needed was for me to re-do the original SBA loan application, because since last week, the SBA has revised & streamlined the application.
He sent over the app attachment and I filled it out in literally less than 5 minutes. Got it back to him and it appears it's ready for input into SBA's software process.
Who knows what day it will fund exactly, however, at least there's some movement and communication happening.
I fully suspect the EIDL will eventually fund as well. I'm more optimistic about that now. I read that the SBA has contracted with two outside accounting/processing companies to assist them with it. I'm still unsure whether the full $10,000 "advance/grant" will fund, at this point I'm not sure anyone has received funding from that program.
He also assured me that the SBA Debt Relief program, which will forgive 6 mos of my principal & interest off of my existing SBA 7a truck loan, will be kicking into gear as well.
My advice would be for anyone who has applied for the PPP loan, and has a personal contact at the bank, to call them and gently remind them of your application submission and when they expect to begin review & processing.x1Heavy, Tug Toy and Rideandrepair Thank this. -
That’s good to hear. Rates have fallen off a cliff. Nothing left but some scraps to clean up. I’m D H home 700 miles. Had enough fun, got a killer abscess tooth that’s getting worse, after 4 days of antibiotics. So much for my planned week. Chain of events. So it goes.
x1Heavy and Scooter Jones Thank this. -
Just saying sometimes it’s cheaper then a lap jiggle.Rideandrepair, x1Heavy and Tug Toy Thank this. -
Was with my banker yesterday. She said they had like $22m approved but not funded yet. They were waiting on instructions on how to fund them. The government instructions were unclear how to fund the loans.
Its just a small town bank.Rideandrepair and Scooter Jones Thank this. -
Anyone wake up with a $10,000 direct deposit into their bank account yet?Tug Toy, Rideandrepair and x1Heavy Thank this. -
The abscess is most dangerous against your brain and everything you are and very life itself. Its only about a inch from the brain itself.
If you don't, its very possible you will pass on or become otherwise disabled on something so fixable and the entire business would just rust and waste.
I fought off two abcesses this way and it's something that has to be done. antibiotics buy time but ultimately the infection corrupts and so forth towards the brain itself. Once in, thats it.Rideandrepair Thanks this. -
x1Heavy Thanks this.
