Well time to check the caps for clearance. Engine wont turn over at all now. Tho the engine is back on the stand now. The plastigage is inside the house. So I will work on it some more tomorrow. Metal is so cold that my fingers are going numb. Even with the asphyxiator running. Tomorrow is supposed to be 20 degrees warmer.

For those of you who dont know what plastigage is? It is a fiber that is placed between a bearing joint. When the bearing is assembled and the bolts are tightened, the fiber flattens. Generally a engine crank bearing is about three thousandths clearance between the two surfaces. If you want a comparrison? The human hair on average is four thousandths of an inch thick. Some thing to think about.

Did I mention I-95 is supposed to get 8-12 inches of snow? At least it will be all tain here on the coast.

If you rear end someone, it's because you were following too close. 100% his fault.

And Id bet dollars to donuts that Swifty forgot he had a trailer and turned right into that W9
