2014 international ProStar with the n13 Navistar engine. Replaced the ac compressor and the high pressure switch and the compressor won’t engage. Checked compressor and it’s good. Replaced the high pressure switch because I thought it was preventing the fan from coming on. What am I overlooking?

on a prostar you're overlooking a lot of things, did you check the thermistor sensors on the ac lines, they always cause problems and dont let the clutch engage

I should say check ac lines, air dryer, sensors and condenser.. any leaks?does ur fan kick in when u turn d ac? If not try to blow air in to that air hose connected to the fan and checked valve connected to it, i forgot what its called, valve controlled the fan u be able to hear it once it kick in if not then send it to dealer... u can changed it ur self its easy

There are no thermistor on this set up just a low and a high pressure sensor. And my engine fan is not air it’s magnetic. System has pressure I just had it charged and then checked it with my own gauges after the fact.

I know a friend that had that issue a couple years ago. The sensor might need to be reset. I remember it was a simple fix like, turn the key on and off 3 times and do something else. Maybe a tech could walk you through that?

If you have Diamond Logic Builder, I would recommend you go in there and reset the body controls for the AC. Also, make sure there aren't any leaks.

another way to reset the hvac body controller is to take out the fuse, it should be listed on the fuse diagram as hvac body controller
