Adding adjustable ride height to older Fontaine RGN

I was just trying to help you out on the deck camber - I might have 20k. In chains and binders on my trailer - at least it feels that way

we all do what we do - I just don’t do what you do or where you do it

 

Like a couple others have posted, the stock Fontaine way to adjust the ride height is a very simple lever. You just put the leveling valve on the end of a rotating rod, lever on the other end that catches into a few notches for your desired ride height settings. Just make sure you don't try to spin it so far as to overextend the bags, or keep it so low you're bottoming them out every bump. The trailer I pull has limiting straps on the shocks to keep from overextending the bags.

 

Zoom in on the rideheight link. Its a single acting, spring return Bimba air cylinder. One air line from the dash extends it and opens the ride valve on the fly from your seat.

You will probably have to provide these guys with more information on what trailer you have. You know the make, model and year to get things started.
