Oil change interval

I don't know for your area but basicly..........like you said.
Take a sample , send it and wait for the results.
It's the only correct way to determine oilchanges.
Maybe you can tell which area you are in and someone will be able to tell you which service to use.

 

If you can also get oil bypass filter and it filters the oil out a lot better then the standard full flow oil filters on the engine. Like others said you take oil sample and only change oil when it dirty. You can go like 100,000 miles or more of engine is in good shape

just change your oil and keep driving. dont spend money on add on systems.

 

I use either Rotella or Delvac synthetic blend, and that’s only because full synthetic is expensive.

 

Bypass oil filters work. I had one on my S60. The Gulf coast bypass filter. If anyone is driving a newer truck they have a bypass oil filters on the engines from the factory. That's why the new engines can go 50,000 miles between oil changes factory recommend.
