Everyone has to decide for themselves what they will take from the world around them, what they will tolerate, how they will manage to alter what they wont tolerate and so forth. Each decision has a risk or cost associated with it that only the person making the decision will have to pay should things go wrong.

You can do nothing and tolerate the abuse at a cost of being abused, you can ask politely for some respect.. " hey i dont appreciate you yelling at me and i dont think your manager would either.." ..at the risk of being ignored. Or you can snap your finger in the abusers face and say something like "bark at me one more time..." While glaring in their face.. But at the risk of ending up in a fight or losing your job. You can punch him and risk ending up with assault charges and/or getting whooped.

Decisions decisions. We all have to make our own. Try to atleast weigh the options and deliberately enploy the one you decide is best while in a rational calm state of mind.. Rather than shoot from the hip in the moment of anger.

If its a great idea right now, it still will be tomorrow. Weigh it out

I wouldn’t take the abuse either.. but in these troubling times a bird(job) in hand is worth a dozen in the bush.
