it is interesting how states are grouping together to form regional plans for reopening the economy. The Northeast has 7 states in a group. The northwest has Ca, Wa, Oregon in a group. When the federal government fails to lead, the state do!

Consider the history books. Specifically the USA in 1781.

IF NYC complained about subways filthy full of homeless all night underground, it has no meaning in Arkansas for example to us because we don't have those fancy subways to fill with homeless. We do however have about 3000 homeless in the woods around Little Rock and bottom lands beause the shelters are dangerous places and as it turns out pretty infectious in close quarters. Its not that hot or cold yet excepting the short burst of winter we are getting now temporarily behind this outbreak system that passed during Easter.

The West Coast states team up as did NY, CONN and NJ did earlier on to prevent smart people from simply driving a hour or two to escape a locked down NYC.

See Dare County and second homes in NC and lawsuits. You own that house but you cannot get to it. Unless you had a helicopter maybe. Or a boat perhaps. I understand they are carefully hunting people who have that kind of resources to get away to somewhere. Limiting our civil liberties which brings up a whole another set of problems.
