They will run even for $1.2 or $1 dol per mile because equipment payments and insurance are fixed costs and they have to be paid regardless. If they park their trucks and do not generate any revenue at all, they will have insurance defaulted and the truck/trailer repossessed. They hope that they can outlast the bad period on the market and when it is over they will stay in business.

Not all of them are assuming to receive 10K relief check nor 1K a week payroll subsidy, either. Neither can they cancel their insurance (receive a refund) and sell their financed trucks.

Yeah...they will run for 90 cent per mile too, before their trucks are hauled away.

Funny you should bring that up. I took the first screen shot early this morning and one cheap load has been taken. The other they dropped the rate. 25296C62-4142-4D70-9F70-4C71E60CACFE.jpeg 17ECD959-A39D-4372-AB4D-A7E5829463D6.jpeg

Worry about that later, at that rate, no fed tax will be owed.Probably qualify for earned tax credit, and get a refund. Very little state tax, depending on rate. And Local? Got to make money to pay taxes.

So anybody that takes any of those loads posted as well as loads I've seen on other sites is basically making less than even the worst mega comp driver.

They are making 0$. Just paying for fuel insurance and a truck note . And that if they fall on the low spectrum of payements. I am sure most of these guys are spending money out of their own pockets to move these loads . Ha what a time to be a broker .

Oh my bad i didnt notice that .not bad for some hometime if you live in that area though. But brokers are pushing loads that are not getting picked at decent prices . I have seen a few today.
