I dont think it will. Just because you have bigger tires dont mean its gonna be faster and have the same power. I would see about upping the rpm to 2150 at least. Not for road speed but for getting up to speed loaded. Then lower your ratio for top end. One might even consider a two speed rear end in your case. For your weight I dont see why 3.73 or 3.58's wont work. You won't gain weight and it will run as fast as you will want too.

But my views are my views. Others wont like it. No one likes being behind me at a light. I'm slower than grannies walker off the light in a big truck.

@jamespmack didn't you replace rusted brake lines on a Chevy pickup recently?

3.73 with tall 22.5 is what I have. I don’t run over 70 mph. Truck has been running freight all over this country since 2001. You gain nothing gong any faster. If running faster is going to increase your profit then just order up a new truck set to go 85 and run 3300 miles a week. I bought an old truck so I didn’t have to go 80 mph.

I have an '02 1500 4x4 I have to replace all the steel lines on. Did you use the pre-bent kit from Delco and did you have to take down the fuel tank?
