Is there a way to know if the front cab bushings are bad?

 

Yes, if the cab is tilted to one side (look at the rear cab airbags), they normally should be both sitting straight, if they are tilted to one side, that’s the indicator. Other than that, take off front fenders and inspect the bushing like you would any other bushing.

 

Thanks. I think my cab sits level, but I'll look again. I did increase the cab bag pressure via the valve after I replaced the shocks, but I think I'll lower it back down.
My suspension leveler valve leaks a bit of air, especially right after I park, so I need to change that.

 

What model is your truck ? 780?
Your cab air springs don't look Volvo oem, (actually i'm not sure, because i always owned 770/780, maybe 670,/610 has different cab air springs ). Few years ago i was in a small shop and they order some small bags like yours for my 780 and i told them to bring the right air springs.
See bellow i attached a photo from my phone , yours have smaller diameter and are narrow plastic seat at the bottom and wider top, the oem are wider at lower side, i doubt are for Volvo.
Smaller airbags requires higher pressure to lift same weight / the cab, and can get rough.
This is what i can see first, but i doubt is your problem, what steer axle do you have, Hendrickson steerteck air ride or Merittor simple leaf springs/shocks only?

 

Those shocks are rusty.
Didn't you say you replaced them?
