    About half way assembled. Got the crank and pistons in, spacer plate on, front timing case together and flywheel housing installed. Just need to get the piston jets and oil pump in and the pan can go on. After that its just the head and the exterior stuff.

    Since I need a new crankshaft damper on this engine anyways, do any of you think I'd see any kind of benefit from upgrading from the OEM rubber one to a viscous one?

    Why do so many guys get butt hurt when they see a Detroit making good power..?

    I'm happy to see a Cat, Cummins, or Detroit blow a little smoke or twist the chassis a bit while rowing trough the gears.. I'm partial to Detroit's but I like all 3 when they are in a sweet ride..
