Can/how to remove a empty box when the PTO went out

    I work for the county minutes for waste we had a truck have the PTO go out with a box stuck on the back and before we can take it for service they said they wanted the box off the back trying to figure out how to get it off without having a PTL

    Use a separate hydraulic pump tapped into the lines and bypass the PTO pump.

    Pick the front of the box with 2 forklifts one of each side. Back another roll off up to it & use a chain to his winch.

    If you have a winch system...You have to the front of the can past the locks.

    if you guys have just the hook system i have no clue. No experience with them.

    edit: Or call a wrecker company to come out & lift the can off & place it on the ground.
