Looking for good companies

All those are as good as the other, Flatbed is great if you dont mind wrestling tarps, (which can be a bear especially in the winter) but it all depends on what you wanna do. I hear flats stay pretty busy.

BELIEVE 0% OF WHAT RECRUITERS SAY! ..... GO TO THE COMPANIES THAT YOU ARE INTERESTED IN IF POSSIBLE ..... GO TO TRUCK STOPS AND STRIKE UP CONVERSATIONS WITH COMPANY DRIVERS IN WHICH COMPANIES THAT YOU ARE INTERESTED IN.... MAKE PHONE CALLS.... RESEARCH.....CHECK OUT THE SAFESTAT WEB SITE....... BE COOL AND TAKE YOUR TIME!!!!!

 

Research is great, talking to drivers is great, but for every positive, you'll have a negative. Try to pick the lesser of the evils. and again, its all about how you approach it. what are you willing to put up with.

People at McDonald's are making better money then most students drivers will make for the forseeable future.

 

Well there you have it. Democracy in action. Capitalisim at it's best. Sad. I agree. If you want to go to McDonalds and make better money, do it. At least they get paid for all of their hours unlike most of you. And they get to be home every night. Who's the dummy now?

Unless you work local (or any other type) for hourly pay, you get the royal shaft! Don't believe me, try asking any otr company what they pay to their drviers for breakdowns and delays of any kind without giving up any of YOUR time. It's not gonna happen. Trust me. Prove me wrong if you can. ONE COMPANY. JUST ONE!!!!!
