Gather you have been getting the miles with your dump. I wonder how many people on forum have dumps? Could have mod change thead to Hopper & Dump O/O's Drivers. Course some of these hopper guys have dumps also. Both sometimes can go to same place.

Sometimes I wished I was pulling a hopper then I could stay out of the scrap yards. I would like to have both myself.

Looking around today and they have cut some dryland corn. The beans are turning color. However it rained again this morning ...seems like the tropics if it was warmer.

I don't blame him, I wouldn't want to haul all that stuff they haul that won't come out of the trailers. Grain is just fine for me.

It is kinda sad when you run OTR and you have friends at home running local hauling grain making the same money and home every night. I was visiting with some friends and seen their checks. They burn less fuel, run less miles and don't have the road expenses. I know it is not all gravy but neither is OTR and their per mile is better then mine.

I was doing good hauling local but then a ethanol plant went down. Now have to go out farther for a good load. Also didn't help a cutthroat outfit came into town few years ago.
It will come back but may take a few years for some of them to go under.
