Unless thin and crispy was ordered. I have kitchen blunders, and experiments that dont work all the time. Make cooking fun, rarely does anyone get hurt from it.

So what's her secret? Most welders have burns up and down thier arms. I have permanent scars, I have one in the side of my foot from stainless dripping and went threw pants into the top of my slip on boots. She must wear some serious blocker creme. Welder uniforms sure have changed.

And how is there flame out of a mig welder torch yet it is not completing a circuit?

I don't weld much but I've got a few good scars on the arms from torch slag. Fire retardant coveralls my ###!

I only do my own little projects now. My first truck shop job if you were slow in the truck shop, you got sent up to the weld shop, if they were slow there you got shipped to the farm. We arched and strapped flatbeds, added axles, build doubles. Anyhow I was just learning how to weld from the old guys. We build these big wedge like boxes to go on intermill trailers that hauled like 300k. They just set the massive coils on and moved them in house. Anyhow first job I was given to weld with no supervision was welding gussets on the bottom side of them. Big heavy plate. About one hour per box burning stick. 3 stations going in the shop. Hot summer night about 130° in the weld shop. Here I am with top of shirt unbuttoned and sleeves rolled up. I was warned and still did it. I looked like a lobster and I have darker skin. I remember it like yesterday. Never did it again either. Free life lesson.

@1951 shall be along to laugh at me any minute.
