Help on Electric Brake controller

    Hook the brake controller up like it should be, but curious as to why it makes the brakes hot at the plug with the brakes not compressed or anything to that matter. Is it a programming issue anyone ever run into this. It’s a Navistar 8600 model Semi I’m putting the controller in. Any help?

    You would think there is a hot wire crossed somewhere but if so, a fuse would pop or the wires would melt. Curious to know as well
