Was in Cartersville for a few hours this week but a couple drivers were there for over 24 hours just waiting to get trucks in for B service. Granted several mechanics are out sick from who knows what.

Last B-service I had done, I was routed through 3 different shops before I found one that had the time to do it.

If these warehouse / store people were paid by production versus by the hour ridiculous unload times like this would not happen.

Lol last time I delivered carpet there, they seemed confused didn’t know what to do with the carpet. They did unload me fast though.

I have to wonder if maybe that's what happened this time. I sat there on the dock for hours and hours before they even touched the load. They had the door open, though, so I have to wonder if they needed to figure out what to do or if they had to go outfit a forklift with one of those jousting poles first.

I guess carpet is a big pain for receiving anyhow. I had one of the receiving women in Shelby tell me once to stop bringing it.

In this episode of Weekend Dispatch ####ing Up My ####:

Delivered to Menards in Cape Girardeau this morning. Get my reload info. Reload is Dial in Edwardsville. Get up there and check in. Load didn't load last night like it should have because there were no empties. Not sure why they didn't load it after they DID have an empty because there's at least two empties here now. So I'm on a door, live loading, but they might not get around to me until 2230.

Considering how far they had me to come to get this POS, I kind of feel singled-out.

Btw do any of you know if Walgreens in Waxahachie allows overnight parking? Google reviews are telling me long unload times but nothing about that

Can't speak specifically on that location but I was at a Walgreens DC near Toledo recently. Took 7 hours to unload and they supposedly allowed overnight parking based on Google reviews I read about the place.

All the reviews about unload times being ridiculous were true. I did not need to find out for sure on the parking because I had time to leave there.
