    The OM is a cat of impeccable character. I can't see her doing something like that. We're not a mega carrier.

    They're called chairs. You sit down on them so you don't have to constantly stand on your feet.

    I think you hit that pretty well dead on.

    At this time you do not have an established client list so are not afraid to dead call on a load. Others that are more established may consider that a traumatic (spell check actually recommended Dramatic for that word also when I typoed, not far off) experience.

    On of the freight types I focused on with the dry van would be dried up right now. Trade show. Just very minimal stuff is going to be moving with essentially no shows/events happening. I would of had to scramble to fill the holes left by those loads. Farmers would still want their chemicals, dogs are going to be fed, and I could hold my nose and do amazon loads to fill gaps.

    Recent gig was delivering mattresses to stores and d.c.s on a dedicated account. Volume shipping out caused 4 of 12 drivers to be reallocated to other accounts, I'm running a yard goat at night (home every day), One is running tortilla and tortilla products (She is taking the MT/WY loads that others on that account do not want), Rookie guy is running containers out of the rail yard. Forth is at a grocery distributor doing down and backs to Moreno Valley CA.

    You are correct the work is there, If you are adult enough to get it done.

    Not to impugn the OM’s character, or suggest that she is up to nefarious actions. Clearly the OM is a business cat. Then profits are profits.

    If you charge your batteries in the spare bedroom-
    Chances are, you might be a redneck.

    Ok, needed a quick snack between today’s deliveries.
    Get to stop, receiving is at lunch, just left. Dang it.
    Looking across the road is a nation wide fast food place. Walk over and order some food.

    This is what I ordered;

    This is the only place around. I will not post a picture of what was in the wrapper. I will not inflict that kind of pain, even on my lousy neighbor. It sure did not look like that picture. It did taste fine, as far as can tell. Not something I tend to do often.
