One of those was REALLY IN THE MIDDLE OF NOWHERE... Can't remember where it was... but there was absolutely no address... I parked at a truck stop nearby the area the day before, unhooked and bobtail to check... was following descriptions like, make a turn after third tree, then go up a hill, then see a white house and continue on for so many miles... so forth and so on... Almost got lost till a neighbor gave me some help...
Was able to get there fine on the next day... and was unloaded right there... on an empty field...
This other one... another delivery at a "hidden" place... they were placing solar panels on that field far from the road... one had to drive thru the woods to get there...
This other one... can't remember either.... but LITERALLY MIDDLE OF NOWHERE... far from the road and nothing on google or GPS... It was still dark when I got there... on sunrise... and I just followed the road...
They loaded me really heavy and had scales there... spent all morning there cause they had to rearrange the load twice to get legal... left and went straight to CAT scale at nearest truck stop to double check and THANKFULLY I was legal... it would be awful if I had to go back to rearrange the load...
The rocky road made the truck a truly Freighshaker... Sorry, I couldn't rotate the image.... after I made the video...

And while browsing my old files here I found these...
One when I was in another company... old paper log days... had the weekend off in DE... left trailer at a safe place and bobtail to Woodland beach... Sorry... the image is not good cause I used an old camera and then some free app to upload that to the computer...
650cat425, Wasted Thyme, D.Tibbitt and 4 others Thank this. -
I was sooo glad I had my dash cam when those things happened... So I could show to my company and they found those to be non-preventable...
If only had the friggin white pickup truck just stayed in his friggin lane for one more min... but nooooo.....
Broke off one air line going to brake chamber in the trailer and had to park on the shoulder...
Going thru bambi land at night... another one decided to commit suicide... Thankfully it was a small one... but big enough to cause damage to the plastic truck... Lost right side of bumper and damaged front bumper... my company didn't use those guards...
Hey... gotta go out now...Last edited: Apr 26, 2020

Well.
Due to me thinking, I’ll go mow the yard, and get that out of the way, I got into all kinds of fun, but it reminded me of a story I’ll tell at the end for those intrigued readers.
The first thing, I had to do, of course, was go get fuel.
Then the battery was dead, so I jumped started it.
Then while mowing, got a flat..
I fixed that..
Then as I go to park the mower, a snake decided to take over my shed.
All I had was my .45, so now my ear is ringing, but minus one big nasty thing lurking in the dark.
Now the story, as promised.
An old man once seen a snake starving, hurt and on the brink of death.
The old man took the snake, nursed it back to health.
A few months later, the snake bites the old man.
While the man was laying there dying, he asked the snake, “Why would you bite me, I saved your life, and now you’re taking mine.”
The snake said, “I’m a snake, what’d you expect?”RidgeRunner731, Rocks, dwells40 and 5 others Thank this.
