Most trucks need a antenna set put in. Nothing fancy, just remember not to be taller than 13.6 with a small spring on the base.
-
Your cascadia should have one built in. They aren’t great, but do function. Should be a power cord connection and the coax in the middle upper left console. You may need to remove the cover to find it. Most people don’t realize they have those connections behind that sunglass holder/cubby above.

If you want more than 1/2 mile range, yes you will need an aftermarket antenna.

I’m sorry was thinking of the 2013-2017’s. Should be right there in the upper middle in the cubby hole

Why the spring????
Have to never seen those things flop around as you drive....Its worse than a limp mr winky after sex...
On a low mount position like the last col models of cascadia get a top loaded 7ft fire stick or skip shooter....A hd wilson alumium stud and a mirror mount bracket for that model....
NOOOOOOO spring bs.....
Look my name on youtube and watch some of my vids if you need help..
