    Ya its bs. Probably one of those charges you would beat in court. But you have to go and jump through the hoops etc

    From Michelin. Find your tire and Max weight you put on steer. Always good to have a 5 PSI safety factor.

    The best way to is to check your side wall for Max cold pressure..1rst. Then take 10% off that number on the sides wall Max cold pressure. This would allow the tire to have room for expansion for heating within the tire. So the best practice is to know what exactly weight of you engine ect.. On steering , plus cab ect.. The weight and temperature determine the prop pressure.
    The spec that rated on the trailer should determine how you can prepare for worst case loading or maximum loading. The tire pressure chart is missed informed.
    The chart shows exact pressures of a tire that's rated for its kind or make. One the tire rolls at speeds of 65 mph. It will show the exact pressures for the weight your hauling. So -10% of Max cold pressure to start the day. One you get the load you will see the exact pressures of what the maker exhibit on there Tire Pressure Charts. Or close to it one they heat up. You will most definitely would have a good foot-print on the road.
    Your first have to spec out the weight distribution throughout you unit. Starting from your light weight. Your truck will ride like a champion.

    Semi truck tires do not have a maximum cold pressure. It says maximum load for a given pressure.
    All pressures are taken with cold tires at the local ambient temperature. Pressures that the tires get up to during use while hot under a load are already factored in.
