I've moved on to a new company. I enjoyed my time with GTS, but i had to move on as the my paychecks were getting lower.
I've heard the same thing from the Bynum drivers I've talked too as well. We had a few drivers come from Bynum to GTS for that very reason.
The food grade tankers I know of in Winter Haven area are Oakley, GTS, Indian River, and Bynum.
I would go with GTS or Oakley

I worked there briefly. Low miles. Poor communication, unpaid layovers and detention. Trucks are all automatic with benndix system. Switching to Volvo’s tho for now still mostly 579’s. Low pay .48 cpm with.2cpm bonus. They have uniforms their strict about. Detention is unpaid first 4 hours then 10.00 ph after but good luck getting it. Home time is 1 day off per week out minimum 3 weeks out. Probably a good job for someone retired in their 60’s. Wasn’t for me. I moved on too far better hauling hoppers.

Never done tanker before, my OTR experience was dry van/reefer at 40 CPM so $1200 was not a bad week. GTS is on my short list of tanker companies I plan on applying to.
