I have an issue with my 2013 ProStar with the Maxx13 all of a sudden.. It has good power and all but my DPF light just stays on.. Its not asking for a parked regen or anything.. The light is just simply on.. Have you ever seen this before? Or know what the issue could be? Thanks..

How many miles on the engine? When was the last time you had the DPF filter and the after treatment system cleaned and serviced?

So I finally made it to my destination 200 miles away from home and I just pressed the regen switch to see what it would do and sure enough it’s regenerating, but the exhaust doesn’t seem to get as hot as it usually does.. It’s just strange that it the light stood on for about 150miles.. Usually it’ll go away after 5-10 miles if it ever even comes on.. It regenerated for 10min and now it’s back to normal.. Just weird..

White smoke during regen? White smoke usually indicates DOC is worn. If the exhaust temperature is indeed low, a failing DOC would be suspect.
QUALITYTRUCK Thanks this. -

DOC is the heavy truck version of a catalytic converter. It doesn't collect particulates. Its a catalyst that reacts with diesel fuel to generate heat to regenerate the DPF. If its worn out and breaking down it should be replaced.
