I too was bumped up. Thanks to excell telling me to call. Lol.

I was in class with a martin guy that I still talk to almost everyday and he said the same thing as you. Now he's running his ### of and lovin' it.

Its all been said before but if you are willing to run you can make money here. If you run 70mph from truckstop to truckstop... Well stay where you are.

Also in todays news..... I heard our swift driver is still with us and doing ok! I don't know how long it will last but I wish him the best of luck.

Well I've got a different story for marten drivers that wanna come over. Lol I've talked to several marten drivers that were ex JCT drivers and all they had to say were negative about us. I ask them what's the problem, they said dispatch ran them too hard and they didn't like that. Also they wanted to be paid for everything they do, ( detention after an hour, paid for every p/u and drop, etc etc. ) So ask urself this, do I wanna run or do I wanna driver 500 and call it a day. If all u are willing to do is do no more than 500 a day then this is not the place for you. :) there will be weeks where u need to run more than that except if u r getting in an unlucky situation like jarbo or excel on their first week. My heart goes out to those two. LOL

I am a runner. I hate sitting. If I want to sit, I want to be home. When I am in the truck, I like to rack up miles and miles and miles....you get the point. Running solo, I hope for 4000+. When my wife and I teamed, we stayed above 7000 a week. Running is no problem fer me.

Thanx for that lil tidbit of info !! :smt038

Grasshopper, Jarbo and Excell are operators with JCT and are kind enuff to post info on this board for folks like you & me to read and gain knowledge.

We bow in thankfulness to the wise ones for sharing with us their knowledge, for when we can outrun them in miles, we shall be ready to grab the stone from their grasp.
