So how does this work differently for different people, I wonder?
Since this began i have not had an actual route to follow.
Better for me in a way, because I can never be out of route now. I am sometimes very out of route.
But how can a generic program that is supposed to work the same way for everyone, work differently for just some people?

The only change for me has been an additional fuel stop at different location that I do not have to use.

my fuel route had me choose from the t/a in Barstow ca or t/a in Ontario ca.
bypassed both since I still have plenty of fuel
came here to final in Azusa hoping they take me early.
took my number and been sitting 45 minutes nowFerrissWheel and Wasted Thyme Thank this. -
I bypass many fuel stops.
I took the second option for my second fuel stop today at the TA in Dayton, OH.
It would not let me fuel. The error of 'no limit set' or something.
No need to waste time calling in to get things fixed, I got here with a third tank.
Columbus terminal, after delivering nearby.FerrissWheel Thanks this. -
I just watched the newest COVID-19 update video on the portal.
They said that all the terminals have masks now, but I checked in Columbus 2 days ago and they didn't have any left.
They will be checking for a fever now, like some shippers and receivers, 'because it is an early sign of the virus'.
Not that it will matter that much in the long run because so many with the virus don't have a fever.
It is not an early sign of the virus, that is outdated news. It is now just one of many symptoms that may or may not be present.
The quarterly earnings of Swift I have no real interest in.
And the freight?
We all know what this is doing overall. But things still move out there. And with some states starting to open up more there will be those needs that need to be filled quickly.
And the platitudes to the drivers I can do without. We are just doing what we normally do, and probably at lesser risk than many out there. What was it they said in the last video? 1 in 1,000 drivers have the virus. That is pretty good odds if you ask me.FerrissWheel and dwells40 Thank this. -
And with that rant finished...
I am still in the Columbus area.
I delivered this morning at 1000 and still no plan tonight. This will be a bad week for me if I have to sit the weekend.
But I had 2,400 miles last week, when some were sitting more.
I have a home time scheduled for Tuesday, which I am looking forward to.dptrucker, FerrissWheel and dwells40 Thank this. -
34 in Phoenix. Next load picks up monday.
Student is doing fantastic. His angle backings have been solid all week. And his driving habits are impeccable, with one or two very minor rough spots. Best of the bunch this year so far.
Was going to be covering lowes till they found a replacement for me. But now lowes is requesting even more drivers from us. We may go the full distance next week instead of relaying. Which will take me from 3000 to 4000 a week.
To think i did this as a favor. Its working out well. I have always been at home in the desert.
Even went swimming in the colorado in Ehrenberg AZ this week. Next week i should get an extra run to vegas for the weekend.Wasted Thyme, dwells40, Moosetek13 and 1 other person Thank this.
