Have the wheel bearings adj. with a end play tool, then you will see a big diff. in how long the tires last?
-
I had one doing that when i got this trailer. Turns out the valve stem was leaking going down the road letting it run low. Then when stopped it aired back up with the auto inflator.
SilverBulletBand Thanks this. -
Inside of inside tires, on my Trailer was from bad suspension bushings, flat spots, erratic wear across tread, from loose bearing. Bad bushings also caused a lot of weaving/dog tracking in different directions.
SilverBulletBand, JonJon78 and Isafarmboy Thank this. -
How long does bushings typically last on a trailer? I've got a spread axle flat and have the flat spot issue on the passenger side front axle inside tire. But noticed today seems the outside tire is starting to do it as well.
Trailer is 2 years old. Henrickson suspension.Rideandrepair Thanks this. -
My last trailer was 13 yrs old when I replaced them, they were shot. And the bogie was cracked. It was a waste of money to have it fixed. But I didn’t want to buy another trailer. Ran it 2 more yrs. till the floor gave out. I doubt yours are bad already, even being a spread.I would guess they last at least 6 or 7 yrs. probably more like 8 or 9. I really don’t know. Mine started weaving in the lane, going straight down the road. Dog tracking one way, then the other. Progressively got worse. Might just need an alignment, but I would make sure the bearings not loose. Check it for play.

Think the problem was staring me right in the face, but I wasn't looking...
Bad shock.
Lemme play mechanic for 10 minutes...
Good as new, change both of em. -
Check Bushings. Also when the wheel bearings wear, the nut becomes loose and needs to be tightened
