C-12 Engine Noise (Video)

Seriously?! That’s far fetched dude. I have never heard of such a high rate of cam “going out” as you mentioned in a motor failure. But for some reason you have every other one as you mention. That is nonsense in my opinion. Check the clearance if you want and run the overhead if it’s out

 

Ok dude. I've overhauled about 40 c-12s. I giving you my opinion that's all. I'm not saying that's what it is . I've been doing this since the 90s

 

I'm not trying to ######## you. I giving you my opinion. My father had been doing it for over 40yrs. He was a shop forman at Cummings til 94 and went on his own.

 

If the cam is out the valve clearance will be off quite a bit
