2 bungees to keep it in place, then a pair of basically bike locks, a set of 3 with matching keys. 2 for the ladder and the 3rd an improvement on locking up the generator. Fits under the tarp cover I made better than the other way I had it. So extra win!!

Bungees dont have a load rating, a dot cop who wants to be an ahole could write you for an unsecured load. Put a 1" strap around the ladder holding it to the trailer.
I keep my dunnage under my trailer on top of the cross braces. 8 4x4x8's and no one ever knows they're there until I start pulling them out.beastr123 Thanks this. -
You don't think the 2 lock cables would count? I don't mind putting a strap but I've never been 100% comfortable with the concern of the aluminum edges fraying the strap. But the cable isn't going to fray, not from the ladder. Ladder would get wrecked first LoLkylefitzy Thanks this.

I put pallet racking up under there and stuffed it full of tarps, blankets, short dunnage and big vee boards
