I cannot beleive what is written above!
Are you really saying that those who served in Korea, 'Nam, and every conflict since, and currently, are not fighting for their country?
If this is what you meant, then you are a collossal douchebag.
By making a comment like this, you have denigrated the service and sacrifice of millions of men and women whose shoes you are not fit to shine.

I hope you are not serious-
    Max

Max, that was a much more gentler response than anything I could have written. Thank you.

Boy did this get off topic!

Check with your state and see if you can't retake the driving test. Show up in person.

I love my country. Just don't trust the government.

    Spacer Thanks this.

yeah...my apologies, should have been posted elsewhere. did not mean to derail the thread....feel free to PM me if you care to hear more.

but i will clarify part of the statement. What i SHOULD have said, was that i get sick of hearing drivers or those going into school who might use 'i served in the military' as a crutch. ALTHOUGH i dont think the OP is doing that, i've heard it used that way before. Or using a long criminal history for their inability to 'get a break'.

Don't give up on the profession you so enjoy just because of a few screw ups. You have the truck you always wanted. No you have a few bumps in the road to get threw. Like mentioned earlier just relocate, say to a family address and retake the test.. Your an experience driver, so you should have no problem passing.. It may take some time, but do not ever give up..

Hmm, I get it. Only because I have seen exactly what you are saying. :) The other post did sound kind of bad though, lol.

It is very unfortunate that this was even allowed to happen. I had the pleasure of meeting two drivers at my local DMV that this happened to. It is a real shame! One of those two drivers was also trained in 2005 and the other in 2007 (if I remember correctly). They both claimed to have clean records and are currently employed by another carrier but they still have to re-take all of the tests with the DMV. I am sure neither one of them would have had a problem passing the skills pad or the driving test, and both failed the PTI miserably. I don't know if the PTI has changed that much in the last few years of if the DMV is just looking for more "keywords" in the explanation of each item. Just remember that these examiners want you to touch everything you can reach and point to what you can not.
    Good Luck!
