    "Speed Demons"?
Why did you feel the need to add the "Demon" part?

Maryland has always been a absolute enfrocement speed state. 1 mph is almost a serious violation as 150 over.

In my time they used wolfpacks. maybe 20 or 30 patrol cars on a interstate in a mass intercept pattern about this time of the year. Grab the whole herd speeding and mass ticket them all. Ive been through a few myself. And thats only about 70 mph. piddlying.

What with everyone and their nanny tractor trailers set to 63 industry wide there should be no speeding trucks at all theoratically.

Just wait until all cars are government nannied to 65 as well. Would you like that? Course not. So the solution is to build smart fit cars barely able to get to 90 and made a mockery of Law Enforcement who could not apparently capture such a thing after a time and chase. (They finally got him, but that was not widely reported)

Its just another chapter in the Life in Maryland. Almost routine this time of year more or less. The Amazing part is that you have room to get up and go that fast in a locked down state where its against the law to leave your own house.

    I offer you this funny....

How many cops does it take to ticket one maryland driver?

All of them at least once already.

    =)

    Not those roads....

There are roads in maryland where its pretty quiet and you can open them up for a few miles. I remember one three mile stretch across a small valley between two ridges you can be at almost 200 and back to 55 if you spotted Mr Bear up on the cemetary hill long before you got there.

One road is about 15 miles across farm country. At night you can just leave the foot on the floor all the way across. And slow for two problem curves to about 100.

Another happens to be a highway. If its shift change and you need out somewhere fast, it only takes about oh 7 minutes to dispose of a 40 minute drive. Just make sure you have at least 12 gallons, for thats about what it takes to get from here to there in 7 minutes.

In recent years Maryland has been swarming I-95 from the Delaware state line almost all the way to Baltimore. Usually they just like to have a couple sitting next to the Perryville scalehouses just waiting to see who’ll be dumb enough to try to blow past the scales after going through the tollbooths while they’re open(if it happens the perps don’t get very far, lol).

I will never forget that stretch of 95.

The drivers manual in the state driving exam says if you see red light from a car in front of you what does it mean? What do you do?

Here is Heavy's Exam question specifically from that cursed stretch of 5 lane rush hour fun...

IF ALL LANES Show red lights in front of your 18 wheeler at the speed limit of 70 what do YOU do?
