I'm not a driver and I deal with this sort of stuff.
The ELD malfunctioned and failed to record a driving event. Even though you certified the logs for that day, you can still make a manual correction and re-certify. That they want you to sign a document assigning guilt for something so trivial and not even really an issue is a massive red flag. Find a new job and tell them to shove it up their #####.

Not a big deal , if they get audited they want to show they are compliant by issuing a warning.
What they going to do lock you up , if you don't sign that they will probably fire you. -
LA to JAX at 50 cpm, 5000 miles round trip, no snow. Sounds pretty good.
What kind of truck?speedyk, AfterShock, Coffey and 4 others Thank this. -
Coffey Thanks this.

Thanks guys! I’m not signing that. It was 100% a computer error. I understand where they were coming from.
Going to turn the truck in and roll out LA to Jax back and forth.
He’s got a couple accounts that are LA-JAX, LA-PA, and LA-NYC.
Same customers for years so I know the runs are consistent.
I just couldn’t stomach signing something for a eld/computer glitch. Felt like robbery and I was only in month one with them.Gearjammin' Penguin, AfterShock, Coffey and 8 others Thank this. -
Good. Don't sign a #### thing.
Not for that massive computer screw up. You are dealing with federales here.
ESPECIALLY do not sign that. You did nothing wrong. Kinda. Your company is holding the bag here with a computer that wont work well.
And if you signed that? You would be a pawn, a proxy, a patsy, and so on.
You apparently have a situation in which you will run 5000 miles every week. Id day go for it.
Just keep good logs.Lumper Humper, Dave_in_AZ, Timin770 and 3 others Thank this. -
They want to save money with cheap equipment, and then pay someone to sort though the mess it makes and waste your time.
No thanks.OLDSKOOLERnWV, TokyoJoe, Timin770 and 5 others Thank this. -
Good for you, OP. Best of luck, and remember to g.o.a.l!

My company uses Qualcomm and since last October they tell me they can not edit drive time anymore.
