After hauling bedbugs and blanket wrapped store fixtures, office furniture etc, there are many times after folding 250 pads at a construction site, no truckstop or shower for at least 24 hours, boondocking showers became the norm. Like to ride my bicycle in off locations, comes in handy then also.
My solution. Get one of the 5 gallon flexible bladder camp showers, keep it full of water. Lay it out in the sun if you can. Get into your empty trailer, tail parked downhill. Close the doors most of the way, but block them so no one can lock you in. Hang the shower up, water drains out the tail. Don't forget soap and towel, fresh clothes. And don't sing too loudly....dwells40, kemosabi49, alds and 3 others Thank this. -

My personal truck is getting a shower in a 72 inch bunk.
I lived on a 23 foot sailboat Cruising
A 96’ by72’ inch sleeper with full headroom is Pure Luxury
To easy compared to living on a boat.
In the summer just collecting the condensation runoff from the a/c units will give you 20-30 gallons a day shower water.
A simple heat exchanger plumbed into the cooling system will supply hot water into a heavily insulated tank
I don’t need a shower in the winter being I will never drive another one .Last edited: May 6, 2020

Here is a product that comes in real handy. Couple of spray bottles, one with plain water, one with this soap designed originally for bed ridden patients, also used in camping, trucking, and even outer space.
Would rather use this stuff than some of the truck stop showers I have seen.

Paper towels, Meyers natural soap, and water from a 24 pack. Easy way to freshen up in the morning when there is no shower nearby. Nothing fancy, but it works. Can go days like this when necessary.

I hate to be critical here but,, if you have to take a shower, cook all your meals in your truck,,, you might want to think about driving for someone who pays a little better??
lynchy, Brettj3876 and kemosabi49 Thank this. -
