I stopped at the TA in Meridian to get my fuel filter and fuel water separator changed once.
Kid pulls out these 460 channel locks. I'm like," How are you going to put that back on?"
Kid says,"With these. My filter wrench is in the toolbox, but I don't have the keys."
No thanks.
But in keeping with the Gunny, seeing an opportunity to excel, I now also travel with a Snap On filter wrench!!!

My belly hurts from laughing.
I just stumbled on this while looking for something else...
....And and 20 seconds into it the misses said “that sounds like potty humor from the sounds of it”. She doesn’t like “potty humor”.
I was no more good.

These are the most correct answers.
It's been awhile since I've run plate steel and I started thinking about how I have it secured.
I have 1 chain on the front with 3 straps for the front bundle and 4 straps on the back bundle. With the edge protectors, the straps really only contact the corners. I don't really need the edge protection because the edges are slightly rounded.
I really didn't want to drag out all my chains/binders plus the facility I loaded doesn't allow you to get on the trailer so secure the chains is a #####. While I'm more than legal, I think about how much force is actually holding the steel from moving.
A bulkhead is easy enough to build as I carry enough 4x4's for it as well.FerrissWheel, dwells40, WesternPlains and 1 other person Thank this. -
In truth, your nards really had nothing to do with it. I was more concerned that you may spread this potentially deadly condition amongst the populace. Thus creating a frenzy by the media and a new round of hoarding of various consumer goods.FerrissWheel, WesternPlains, stuckinthemud and 3 others Thank this.

Used to carry about 8 1 ft 2X6 blocks. Also had skid mat material cut in strips 8 Inches wide. Put down a piece of skid mat, then a block in the center of the sheet, run strap over that. Puts some clamp on the center.D.Tibbitt, FerrissWheel, WesternPlains and 1 other person Thank this.
