Flat out it’s insurance. And with all insurance if it’s a grey area they will not cover it.

Can’t run the truck into the ground and turn around and say “I don’t care it’s under warranty!”

    RollinThunderVet Thanks this.

These warranty places are like insurance companies. When you file a claim they try hard to find away to not pay for it. You better be changing the oil ever 8k miles if you have an engine claim and have receipts

I just got a claim paid by Premium 2000 warranty (SEE ATTACHED BILL FROM PETERBILT) 20181108_134520.jpg 20181108_135526.jpg 20181108_135428.jpg 20181108_135526.jpg 20181108_134520.jpg I had a warranty claim paid on my Peterbilt 579 for #6 Injector. Total bill was $1,952.40 my portion was $193.28 that was my deductible plus a bracket I added to bill to hang airlines up while BT that was $28.59 of that $193. I have had warranty claims with Premium on both my trucks and haven't had any problems getting the coverage that I've paid for. The one big thing that will get you denied a warranty claim is not being able to produce your maintenance history from the day you put your warranty on your truck, keep copies of them in your truck till your warranty runs out. They need a picture of failed part plus maintenance history to start the process. They only pay out the claims from 9am to 4:30pm est. If your going to get this warranty don't go half ####ed get it all, it's expensive but you can take that chance when you buy a used truck and one claim can pay for warranty 3 times over. I currently have this warranty and it’s not worth the $$

Premium 2000 will only cover each part one time so if you have a reoccurring issue you are on your own
I don’t recall what my plan originally cost. A guess would be somewhere around $10,000 plus or minus for a 600,000 extended warranty that covers my apu as well as the truck but with the limited coverage I would have been ahead by just paying cash for repairs

I will never buy another warranty like this again

The Premium 2000 warranty is a total ripoff at any price. Lost 2 cylinders and bad head and etc. Called them and ran down what was wrong. I took it to Cat. They about laughed me out of the place and told me about Premium 2000 covers very very few of the claims. When they gave them the estimate they offered to pay ZERO ! So if anyone wants to piss away a couple thousand bucks get in touch with me my warranty will be as good as theirs. The dealer that sold me the warranty said they never had a complaint about Premium 2000. Wish I would have done my homework before I wasted my money on a worthless piece of paper. The dealer and this company are both con artists.

I had the Premium 2000 Warranty for 3 years on my Kenworth T700 but March 2020 my transmission went out on the Pennsylvania Turnpike at the Carlisle Pa exit headed to New Jersey. I creeped into Kenworth of PA and was told that Premium 2000 wasn't going to cover any cost. It set me back $19,000 out of business during this Pandemic.

The chances that you lose 2 cylinders at the exact same time is astronomical, much less adding a head. These warranties are not for people to run their equipment into the ground and the expect someone else to foot the bill.

SO Kenworth told you Premiuim 2000 wouldnt pay, and didnt even bother writing it up? funny the dealer said the same thing about my turbo and when the check showed up, they were dumbfounded. Sounds like you let the dealership dictate your repairs and your business.
