Question for you experienced flatbed delivery peeps. I'm loaded to deliver A, B, C. Bobcats. If I can get C to agree to take his front 2 ahead of B it would make my route a little shorter and alot more functional... don't want to be driving into Bear DE in the afternoon if I could be heading out instead...
If they agree to a change in the delivery time someone has to drive a bobcat off the deck out of the way for them to get the front 2. I'm not sure I'm comfortable with doing that. Never driven anything further up from the pavement than my own riding mower on my car size trailer...
Is it a reasonable thing to ask the receiver to move a piece of equipment that is not theirs? How likely is that to cause me a bad day?

Alberta genuine draft. Not a cheap beer, it is big rock brewery's lager. Whole top of the can comes off. No governor. 20200509_194926.jpg

You might get lucky, but more than likely they won't drive it off if they're not the ones getting it because of the liability if something were to happen to it.

Not likely to cause you a bad day.

Most receivers will do what is necessary to get to their freight. SOME receivers won’t touch what isn’t there’s due to liability on their end. Those places are normally few and far between and I never experienced it with small machinery equipment.

Sounds to me to be a cargo liability claim if anything happened.

If the customer/owner damages their property unloading, I consider it delivered. Your thinking about having a 3rd party move equipment that they are not taking responsibility for. Some places wont even move a skid just because liability. Nothing might happen, but who is responsible if it does?
