No they aren't mine. I went on just answer and asked the same question and he sent me that and said cat specs on a sdp engine is 36-50psi on a 550.

This is my problem, then you say your driving one with more boost!

Did you ever figure out what issue you were having @dustinbrook. I have an sdp and have never seen 40psi. I have 0 boost leaks and over 100 psi fuel pressure at 1500rpm. @catsdp what are your thoughts?

SDP engines are only rated for 30 psi boost from factory, not like the MXS, NXS at 45 to 55 psi.
When the SDP first came out we had lots of drivers come in saying they are "not getting boost like they use to" comparing it to they old engine ( mxs, nxs) they just see a yellow engine.

    SAR Thanks this.

What about the same engine getting around 20-23 psi for boost?

Hey, I am very sorry, I never got a notification for your response till this latest one came in......or I was drinking alot in may!

Spsauerland is right, I swapped a ISX in but I did finally finds my issue with Lisa boost, it was low fuel pressure. Multiple shops tested it at idle and it passed but finally I got pissed and paid a shop with a dyno to figure it out and very quickly they did, u set load the fuel pump fell flat on its face, on a bench test it had zero vacuum.

Replaced the fuel pump and that thing came alive like crazy!
