I’ve got a 2014 Freightliner M2 106 with a Cummins ISB 479 engine in it. Just wondering what I should expect to pay to have the exhaust manifold replaced. Freightliner was trying to charge over $3000. My boss told me to get out of there. I have it in the shop at a family owned place and looking for your guys’ advice and wisdom

Exhaust manifold replacement is a tough cost to give before hand. If they run into multiple stuck or broken studs that require drilling and tapping then the $3000 price doesn't sound too bad.

AND why do you need to replace it? -

if it is your truck, then you can do it yourself, ISB isn't hard to work on.
If it is your boss's truck, then he needs to step up and get it repaired.
