Parked my hopper trailer back in March. Hooked up to my 4070B and we’re not getting any brakes to the trailer. Had brakes on an end dump with the 4070. Getting air to the 3 tanks on the trailer and getting air to the valves, where “control” ports are labeled. Brakes are slowly engaging with the foot and hand brake are applied the first time but are slow to release. The whole system seems to not lock the brakes down tight and fails to move the brakes if there pumped.

First pic is the front two valves.
Second is the rear valve and third is the first valve. -
Have you greased them and freed them up?
-
I greased them on the morning of the last day I hauled, a couple months ago. What made me catch that they weren’t working, was after I hook, I generally try the hand brake and got nothing.
-
Were the glad hands left exposed when the trailer was stored? Mud dauber pack some putty in the service line?
They are active right now.
If the brakes fully release off the drums and fill the the tanks with the supply line but work slow or no with service that would be my first thought. I always cap them off with dummy hands when unhooked even if for just a day. Keeps dirt and water out.Snailexpress Thanks this. -
we got into the habit of taping the glad hands on trailers that are going to sit for extended periods, insects would build nests inside the lines and cause grief. could be something decided to set up camp in your service line.
baha and mile marker 27 Thank this. -

With someone help check parking brake functioning, how quick brake shoe release and set with red button push/pull. If it's slow S-cam are seized. Grease and try.
-
I would also say you probably have something blocking the line. Take the supply and or signal lines off the valve and I'd bet you'll find it packed full of junk
