I still don’t understand why you think the broker is going to pay more than they have to in a market saturated with trucks, transparency or not.

He thinks somehow there'll be more people saying no to cheap freight when they see what the freight actually pays. He's not taking into account the fact that the brokers will actually keep a larger chunk because they're being required by federal ####### law to tell the competition EXACTLY what it'll take to steal their customers.

Do you have to care enough to go look it up, or do they have to provide it to you?

Does it occur to you that owner ops are being forced out because they don't know how to keep a small buisness afloat when life's not all hookers and blow?

And the thing is the shippers aren't stupid. It's not like they just find a broker and ship happily ever after with him. They're getting quotes from other brokers. And they know the markets. I've had to tell many shippers over the past 3-4 weeks I'm not even going to try to beat the prices they're either expecting or getting quoted by other brokers.

have you noticed more owner operators are going out of business but brokers are increasing?

Why is it that supply and demand falls on owner operators but not on Brokers?

as for the Information on housing prices, it’s simple to look it up. You don’t have to ask for it or request it in person or go through legal hoops to get it.

as the population increases so does the need for truckers.

In this case to many brokers are in the industry not truckers. That’s the issue.

Well, that same information was available when all these guys thought it was a good idea to buy a truck and try to survive off load boards running the spot market.

I ain’t denying that, hearing truckers making money in 2018 accelerated the issue, but answer these questions.

Why do you see trucking companies fail but not brokers?

If the freight is bad or not enough for trucks how come brokers don’t go out of business?

how come when the population is growing there isn’t room for more trucks?

The same thing is happening to brokers for the past ten years is what happened to truckers in 2018.

There are many things that prohibit owner operators from starting up, but not the same with brokers.

    think about that.
