    Week-long enforcement blitz to focus on 'severe spike' in speeding
    They’re already off to a rolling start in Georgia. I’m on my way to Florida and I’ve already seen at least a DOZEN trucks get pulled over on I-75 between Macon and Warner Robins. DOT was also busy along I-20 between Augusta and Conyers yesterday!

    It’s open season on trucks down here!!

    Its funny they talk about its for trucks but then talk about how many people were caught doing over 100 mph.. Umm yeah thats not trucks , thats the dumb cars we share the road with

    Well I can you tell here in GA DPS is SPECIFICALLY TARGETING TRUCKS flying over 70 m.p.h. The only ones pulling over 4 wheelers are the local departments and county mounties!

    It was a #### ton of cops on i 5 yesterday between vancouver and tacoma.

    Local law enforcement NEEDS to do some speed enforcement on the 4-wheelers driving however they please for the past 2 months, since apparently cops are too scared of the #### virus to pull anybody over.

    They were working like crazy on 84 in Boise on Tuesday, also.

    Everywhere.

    When you see that going on it's best to crack it back and ride EXACTLY the limit or just under.
    You can tell they're looking for victims.

    You can almost guarantee that as this covid crap dies down enforcement of all types (local, state, DOT) will ramp up to very high levels. There has been a HUGE loss in revenue from traffic and DOT violations, due to the lightened enforcement and lower traffic volumes during this covid thing.

    On Tuesday DOT was was super heavy at or near the Perry GA exits on I-75. There were a couple there on Wednesday as well.

    I-75 from Atlanta to FL border is always crawling with law enforcement..always. Just a stretch of interstate that’s best for setting the cruise to 70 and just chill.

    It continues like that in Florida down to Tampa.

    Not like the past day or two it hasn’t..
    Usually when I’m driving thru Georgia along 75 I’ll see maybe 4 or 5 DOT bears “working the block”!!
    Yesterday I saw about 40-half of which were between Macon and Warner Robins,with a few sheriffs in between!
    It was like someone kicked a hornets nest-and all of them came out at once!!
