Have you not seen the posts on this site where guys are saying brokers should only be able to take 15% of the load? That’s what I was referring to.

That's why people are comparing brokers to real estate agents, so brokers only make a certain percent commission. Most spot market loads go to carriers that don't have the capacity to fill what the brokers do so back soliciting is not relevant. If the brokers need to make more than they will have to raise the price so the piece of pie comes from a bigger pie.

Quickpay at 3% and then buying cash fuel 3% cheaper than card fuel is a no brainer if ya cant wait for the invoice this week.
Its been a long time since i had a revolving LOC at a credit union.. What are those rates these days? Im thinking 7-10% or so?
Recourse factoring is foolish because of the recourse itself.. Youre paying interest to get paid now what you may owe back later. But quickpay is the best deal going for anyone with cashflow problems and bad credit, the two being s frequent pair.
The brokerage is able to charge interest based on the creditworthiness of the shipper, not the carrier, at no recourse to the carrier. A bad credit trucker wont ever find better terms. To say its a bad idea is like saying its a bad idea to be bad at money. Well, duh.
If one finds himself in a bad money spot there is no reason not to work with the best available tools to fix it. Run hard for reputable quickpay brokers, shop around for cash discount fuel to negate the quickpay fee, get caught up and build your cash buffer back to get straightened out and ween off quickpay.Ruthless Thanks this. -

And what about the startup broker who can only get one or two loads a day? Just cut him off at the knees right? Mom and pop startups are so evil that we should cripple them from ever getting off the ground.
Lets get a $15/hr min wage on one side and a 15% profit cap on the other and see how fast we can just crash the whole #### country. Because regulating economy has worked so well at producing shortages and surpluses, corruption and misery everywhere else.
Lets bring that here for everyone to get a taste of what the worlds immigrants have fled for 2 centuries and millions of soldiers have died to prevent.wore out, Midwest Trucker, Ruthless and 3 others Thank this.
