I have bobtail, non trucking liability through progressive.

About 800 / year paid in full.

I went through insure big rig dot com and had insurance the same day.

 

Great West offers NTL and Physical damage.

I think the way the insurance company looks at it for short term there's no money in it for them. They Take a pretty big risk for a short-term policy. I tried to get it to bobtail home, before I obtained my own authority. Nobody was willing to sell it to me for a month. What I had to end up doing was pay for either 6 months or a year, and I and I canceled it when I got home. It's been so long ago though I can't remember who it was with
