Red Wing will rebuild any of their boots. I pay $75 and get back a boot that looks brand new and wears for another 2 years.

I will do my very absolute best going forward to never purchase anything made in China again. Yeah I know I’ve heard all the arguments it’s all but impossible but believe me I will go out of my way.
WHY YOU ASK?
because as a result of their actions, my 77 year old fragile mother, with not much life to live, who I care for very much, has had to self isolate herself for going on three months now and completely up end the little life she knows...So in my eyes, they attacked an innocent old lady. And you don’t attack innocent old ladies where I come from.
Chinese made a methodical decision to let this virus run freely and I’ll make a methodical decision to never buy their junk again!Rideandrepair, TokyoJoe, MTN Boomer and 3 others Thank this. -

Craftsman has started making some tools here again several years ago. Started out with a tape measure plant in New England and added some others products as well. You have to look closely at the packaging to know.

Roundhouse clothing. I'm wearing their Jean's right now. They advertise as Jean's made to work not for high fashion, it's TRUE they are very tough. $50 a pair made in OklahomaRideandrepair, TokyoJoe and spindrift Thank this.

Roundhouse as a company has an interesting history. They started out 1903. They primarily made clothing for railroad workers. During world war II they made clothing for the military. Their signature product is the old school coveralls, they hold the world record for the largest pair of coveralls ever made.
I own several pair and it's all I've been buying for awhile. As my imported Levi's and wranglers fall apart I replace them with American made.
