Yes, absolutely it's cheaper to just pay for a shower. The price difference wasn't as pronounced between the big and little truck stops until oil prices fell through the floor. Now I can't afford NOT to get the fuel at the smaller places. The discounts I'm seeing are at least .50 cents per gallon cheaper than my discounted price at PFJ. It's a no brainer.

What do you mean truckstop shower? There is a cheaper way no cards no fuel. Isn't it why they put sinks in the bathroom. After all it is called a BATH ROOM!

If you are ever on the OH turnpike, the service areas offer free showers. The bonus is that they tend to be cleaner the the average PFJ shower.

You usually get enough rewards for buying fuel to get a free shower.
Sometimes you go out to BFE, sit around, sit around some more, and can't make it to a shower.
Portable shower to the rescue!

Anyway pump a 1000 gallons at loves or pilot in a month
And get a free shower every day.tscottme Thanks this. -
The diesel at space age in hermiston, OR is $1.79. The diesel at the pilot 4 miles East is $2.35. For 100 gallons that’s a $56 difference. Pay for the $10 shower and save $46 a fill up. Also get a Roady’s card that can be used at most mom/pop shops... in the pac northwest at least.
