    Hello,
I need advice on what can be wrong with my trailer. I have a 2016 Utility 3000r with the hendrickson ultra-k suspension w surelock. Recently I've had brakes, and drums replaced all around. I noticed the trailer did the jump about a month ago a few times when braking a little hard when empty or light, the shop went ahead and replaced an "air control valve" for about 500. Sorry, I'm not sure which valve it is or if there is only one valve, it seemed decently sized when they removed it. Now yesterday I had a light load and had to apply brakes a bit harder, and the trailer jumped quite a bit when braking yesterday when I was looking back in the mirror.. What can it be or what should I look for?? It's a fairly new trailer, don't want to just start throwing parts at it..

Thanks in advance for your contributions!

Mine will do that if I lose power to the abs module from a corroded wire.

Brakes adjusted to tightly... Or ABS issues??? Sounds like the brakes are locking up completely. I dont know allbthe parts to brake systems... But maybe the relief port/valve??? that vents pressure to release brakes when you lift your foot off the brake pedal isnt functioning properly???

Too long of a pushrod will also do it. What did they replace on the "brake job"? Just the shoes?

    KWP_15 Thanks this.

The brake job was new brakes and drums. Before replacing the brakes, when I would slide tandems, the tires wouldn't stay put while sliding. About a month after brake job I noticed the trailer "jump" twice, and the shop replaced the abs valve. After replacing the valve, the whole trip i had a heavy load so didn't notice anything. Now with a light load, it seems to be pretty bad compared to before replacing the valve..

Could still be a faulty abs valve. I’ve seen them replaced on our stoughtens, same result. Replace again problem solved. Is abs light on trailer staying on with a brake app?

    KWP_15 Thanks this.
