    Going into CA via I15 and got hauled into an inspection bay.

    I was very glad I took that load back to the terminal to be reworked.

    He said my tandems were like 1 notch too far back. But he didnt care.

    On my paper he gave me after inspection it listed tandem airhose "chafed" under violations section. Just "a small part of it."

    I did not receive a citation. Can that still apply a point on my CSA score?

    Went back and checked my hoses and they looked fine to me. I dont know. He just said to get it fixed before I pick up another load.

    And they wonder why owner-operators protest...:(
    If we’re being scrutinized and punished (with CSA scores and subsequent higher insurance rates), brokers should be scrutinized and punished as well.

    I assume something like that is just 1 point?

    He said it was on drivers side and it looks the same as the passenger side.

    Any way to dispute that or do I have to just eat it for the next 3 years

    No way to dispute that. This is why this whole CSA score is BS most of the times.

    Easier said, than done. The reason this “agenda-driven” trooper told OP that his tandem were a notch too far is to suggest that he could write both violations if OP tries to dispute this one violation.
    I personally know a diver who got 7 citations because he was trying to argue a single one. So I don’t know if it’s worth all this YouTube fame.
