Maybe it depends on the manufacturer? I bought my Peterbilt new and all hoses are protected and not rubbing against anything.D.Tibbitt, 4mer trucker, wore out and 3 others Thank this.
-
Don't do the crime if'n ya can't do the time. -
Tony Barretta -
That’s why you pay premium for Peterbilts
. There’s no snap-on hose fittings (which eventually start leaking) on Peterbilts either, as far as I remember.
D.Tibbitt Thanks this. -
I can tell you freightliner manufacturer cant figure out an air conditioner.
I wrote it up twice, then I took it to freightliner after that. It worked for about 3 days. Lol -
It seems all mfrs have blind spots. KW can't do ignition switches, windshield wipers nor instrument cluster lighting.

My crime was 6 inches long, but was punished for chafed plumbing.
However, the plumbing was fine; the issue was the length.
*shrug*tommymonza and G13Tomcat Thank this. -
You choose to leave the door open, all manner of things will walk through it.
-
It looked like the door was closed. But really it was still 6 inches open. Thats wide enough for a chafed hose to squeeze through.tommymonza Thanks this.
-
Keep the door shut, and no one will take the time to look at your chafed air lines.TravR1 Thanks this.
